These elements make all the difference in any kind of presentation, be it song, speech or conversation. You will realize how to explore the initial step in choosing songs for you to sing, putting them in your key, and developing a practice to learn them. Have you ever wanted to really ‘belt’ out a song? This session focuses on the vocal techniques which will allow you to own the songs you sing, to be fully in your body, to understand and increase your vocal range, and to develop the power of the singers hook-up breathing needed to carry the notes which will carry you away in song. Bring out the confident performer in you and take the stage. Become a dynamic and expressive performer. You will have the opportu-nity to perform and be part of our Spring Showcase performance in May. When you can get up and sing a song, you can do anything! 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Now that you have your song in your key and memorized, learn how to make it your own. Spend the day learning how to fine tune your song. In this seminar we will focus on Stage pres-ence, Microphone Technique, Confidence, and Arrangement. Taking this seminar will give you the opportunity to perform as a part of the Spring Showcase April 30, 2011. Get ready to be a polished performer. Please come with your song memorized. 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Take your vocal prowess to the next level. Learn to control your vibrato, to support and strengthen your sound in singing long notes, and to articulate more dynamics and soul in your phras-es. Hone your technique and discover how to make your body your instrument in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. Continue to learn to relax and stay open and present in perfor-mance situations. Explore improvisation and phrasing. You will be given specific sets of exercises to take away as a daily practice. 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
